isle of wight open studios 2005

Quay Arts and the IW Council's Arts Unit have teamed up to pilot a directory to promote the work of Island artists and make it easier to contact them. The Directory includes listings of over 70 local artists, contact details for all major Arts organisations on the Island as well as a calendar of annual arts events.

The Arts Directory also includes opening times for this year's Open Studio event on the 2nd-5th September. Artists across the Island will be opening up their homes or studios to the public to come and enjoy their work. Open Studios is a special opportunity to meet artists in their 'natural environment' and to purchase original artworks.
